I haven't posted much as I now share most everything on my FaceBook page "Art by Lynn Peace Marino. So I will share with you I have spent most of my time in the yard with my flowers or in the studio with my gourds. I did clean out and reorganized the studio. I think I have enough gourds to last me a life time but.... are the right gourds??? I am carving a lot more with my microcarver and thru my FB page have been selling most of my work on line which is a good thing since all art shows closed...

2017 is going to be another GOURDgeous year.

I have had my work most recently in Avondale at The Painted Shovel and Oxford, Al. in the J.C.Morgan Gallery. My inventory is low and trying to build it back has been a good  challenged. I have been getting quite a few commissioned piece orders .
These are fun to do but are more  challenging to create. I really want to create what their vision along with my own.

2016 jump start

Well to start the year I cleaned and rearranged my studio. Really looks organized. Hope I will keep it like this for a while. Sent minions off to Florida! I will be taking some new classes this year in Arizona and will  post pictures. Hope to meet Bonnie Gibson.

Fall update

Wow, I can't believe the Alabama Gourd Festival is here. Putting finishing touches on completion pieces and packing for booth setup. Will be a fun weekend. Have been to Oneonta to Pallisades farm and have 42 gourds to clean. Half done for a future birdhouse class. Keep calm and gourd on!

Took a great and easy to understand photography course . I will have better images but be patient as I am still learning!
Getting excited about the Gourd Gathering in North Carolina at the end of the month.
I am am carving away on my train gourd. Will post some progress pictures soon.

Lynn Peace Well I am now officially retired as a nurse but work full time as an artist. I do demonstations, talks , classes and art events with my gourds. Come see me at a show or call and stop by my studio.
